Teaching

Course organiser for Case-Based Learning for the veterinary pre-clinical years. In brief, this involves fellow clinicians presenting clinical cases or scenarios to the students that are relevant to their ongoing lectures. The students work in small groups to discuss the scenarios.

Preclinical lectures given: bovine neonatology (5 lectures to third year students)

The majority of my teaching involves small group (<6 students) rotational teaching of livestock herd health topics to final year veterinary students. Rotations include:
1. Dairy studies
2. Youngstock
3. Clinical skills
4. Herd monitoring

I also participate in the out-of-hours emergency service offered by the University Farm Practice.
