You should submit a PEC claim if you’re experiencing more serious or sustained issues that will:

  • Prevent you from submitting your assessment, even if you use the automatic 7-calendar-day extension window
  • Affect your attendance at a time-specific assessment (such as an exam, presentation or class test) 
  • Significantly impact your academic performance or the quality of work you’ll be able to submit
