Examinations - reasonable adjustments

This page contains information on reasonable adjustments during examinations, for disabled students and those with other support needs.

We want to make sure that all students can complete their exams and will work with students to provide alternative arrangements when needed.

Disability or other support needs required for examination periods

Usually, specific arrangements will have been identified at the beginning of your course or programme. However, this may not always be possible due to changes in circumstances.

If you have a disability or other support needs, please contact Disability Advice and Guidance as soon as possible.

In order for arrangements to be put in place for semester 1 exam period, students must provide evidence and have met with an advisor from Disability Advice and Guidance (DAG), no later than Friday 17th November 2023.

For semester 2 exam period, evidence and meeting with DAG must take place by Thursday 14th March 2024.

Temporary adjustment for examinations

If you require a temporary adjustment to examination arrangements please email the Advice and Guidance Team in the Student Services centre, who will evaluate each case individually.

You are also encouraged to discuss your support needs with your academic department.
