Personal Statement

I have worked as a qualified dental nurse for 9 years. I have experience working in general and orthodontic practices and I have a post registration certificate in Dental Radiography.
I graduated from Bangor University with a 1st Class BSc in Sport, Health and Physical Education. I have keen interest in mental health and well-being and a passion for improving people's quality of life.
My current role is as a Junior Research Dental Nurse on the RETURN project. It is an NIHR funded project that aims help patients overcome the barriers preventing them from seeking routine dental treatment. I will be involved with recruiting the patients for the study and supporting the dental practices taking part.
