Research

Research Overview

I am interested in the effectiveness of investigative interviewing techniques in criminal investigation. This includes interviews conducted with suspects, victims (including children), and witnesses. I am also interested in the elements that impact on crime rates and the factors that affect the development of criminal behavioural intent. As well as this, I am interested in the aetiology of new types of offending (related to the Internet) and specifically their impacts on children and adolescents’ mental health.
