About

Personal Statement

I am currently a Doctoral Academic Teacher in the Department of Psychology and contribute to the teaching of Research Methods and Statistics to first and second year Undergraduate students. I also provide academic support as an Academic Advisor to Undergraduate students.

I graduated from the University of Liverpool with a BSc in Psychology in 2022. I went on to complete the MSc in Research Methods For Psychology, graduating with a distinction in 2024. My master's dissertation explored the relationship between symmetry perception and the processing of negative words.

My PhD aims to replicate and expand upon claims from the Liverpool SPN Catalogue. I will also research how symmetry is used as health cue for food.
