About

Personal Statement

I'm an astrophysicist with a research background in accelerator/particle physics currently working on the manufacturing of pixel and strip detectors to upgrade the detectors used in the ATLAS experiment at CERN. As part of the High Luminosity upgrade, these detectors are scheduled to replace the charged particle tracker of the ATLAS experiment by 2027 and will be operational until 2040.
I have a diverse research background, and have worked on the operation and commissioning of the world's highest energy proton LINAC for cancer treatment, modelling synchrotron radiation characteristics for the upcoming LHeC collider at CERN, and using machine learning tools for histopathology at the IoA at Cambridge University.
