Members gate 4.30pm-dusk.
Planned closures
We're always working to improve the botanic gardens, so occasionally we have to close some features.
- Dovecote Nurseries at Ness is closed and will re-open on Saturday 9th March 2024.
- The summerhouse over looking the Water Gardens is being replaced with a new structure.
Bad weather closures
The gardens will be closed (to staff, visitors and members) if wind speeds are forecast to be 50 mph or more, due to the large number of trees on site.
The gardens may also have to close on occassion due to snow, ice or excessively high temperatures.
