Personal Statement

Yuyi joined Liverpool in October 2014 after spending a year in the industry as a (senior) consultant in London. He previously worked as a Lecturer in Econometrics at the University of Manchester for two years after obtaining his PhD from Manchester. Yuyi obtained a BSc in Economics and Econometrics from the University of Nottingham and completed a MSc in Econometrics and Economics with distinctions from the University of York. He has primary research interest in general econometrics and applications, and has taught many undergraduate- and postgraduate-level econometrics and maths/statistics modules.
