Antony Hibbert

Antony graduated from the University of Liverpool with an MPhys in July 2019. During this time, he completed a research project entitled "Suppression of the Neutron Background at the LUX-ZEPLIN Experiment", in which he developed a 3D map of the non-uniform light collection e_ciency of the Outer Detector of the LZ direct dark matter detection experiment.

His interests lie primarily in particle physics, with his PhD being focused upon general tracking physics and machine learning as applied to the Muon g-2 Experiment located at Fermilab. It is this focus on areas of research dependent upon big data that has led him to join LIVDAT in October 2019.
