Research Overview

Sarah Hart obtained her first degree in Biochemistry at Bristol University and a PhD from UCL in 2003. She undertook postdoctoral research at Manchester University, and held a prestigious EPSRC International Fellowship at the Life Science Interface enabling collaboration with Uppsala University and UCSF. She has held funding from the Royal Society, MRC and RSC to undertake studies in proteomics, a field at the interface of analytical chemistry and biomedical science.
In addition to her roles within the University, Dr Hart sits on the committees of the British Society for Proteome Research and the British Mass Spectrometry Society, where she is involved in conference organisation and educational initiatives in analytical science.
