Personal Statement

Dr Sarah Hart joined Liverpool School of Medicine as Vice-Dean for Postgraduate Taught and International in January 2024. Here she is overseeing strategic development of postgraduate taught offerings including CPD and Masters level programmes, and embedding sustainable strategy around international student training into the School.
Prior to this Dr Hart was a Senior Lecturer at Keele University School of Medicine, and Academic co-lead for Year 4 of their MBChB programme. This involved liaison with the two main trusts to ensure parity of student placement experience across geographically and clinically distinct sites, and delivery of Finals to MBChB students, including in situ Finals during the coronavirus pandemic and return to placement to cover essential training components. Dr Hart was also Faculty of Health Research Integrity lead and interim School lead for Internationalisation.
