Mrs Helen Braid BSc (Hons) BVetMed MSc MA CertAVP(EM) SFHEA MRCVS

Helen delivers around 1,400 hours of face-to-face student teaching per year, mostly as small group teaching (group sizes of 4-8 students) to final year BVSc students on clinical rotations. Helen is a veterinary surgeon at Leahurst Equine Practice and most of her teaching involves students shadowing her as she attends patients. Helen also contributes to postgraduate teaching for CertAVP modules run by the Veterinary Postgraduate Unit. Helen is an Advanced Practitioner in Equine Medicine, a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA) and is one of the Senior Tutors at the veterinary school.
