I aim to produce a high quality, stimulating, progressive, learning experience for students that is responsive to the needs of both the students and wider society, and which produces confident independent learners.

To achieve this I use diverse modes of teaching including: training student teams to solve complex environmental problems for clients; building structured, student-led, debates into undergraduate teaching; using evidence-based, role-play exercises; and collaborating with external organisations to promote relevant, innovative learning.
