When Natalie Dye finished her Law degree, she wasn’t sure what she wanted to do next. With the help of Graduate to Merseyside and funding from Santander Universities, she took the first step into employment.

Natalie, who is originally from Halifax, saw an advert for a Trainee Credit Analyst on the Graduate to Merseyside website which related to parts of her law degree which really interested her.

Natalie said: “Graduate to Merseyside were really helpful in the recruitment process.  They helped with my CV, advised what my potential employer were looking for but more importantly they stayed in touch.”

Natalie was successful at interview and started the role as a Trainee Credit Analyst.  She has since been promoted and is a fully-fledged underwriter.  The role has also developed further as she spends time in a business development role as well.

Both Natalie and her employer benefitted from the Santander Universities funding. If you would like to help support student and graduate employability, simply contact the Development & Alumni Relations team via: alumni@liverpool.ac.uk or complete our expression of interest form online here.
