Three ways to get involved with Giving Tuesday

Giving Tuesday and Lily (Student)

Taking place on 28 November, Giving Tuesday (#GivingTuesday) is a global movement inspiring millions of people to give, collaborate and celebrate generosity.

This Giving Tuesday, our focus is supporting our students who are facing more pressures than ever. Many who were already struggling to pay their way now also face a cost of living crisis.

Demand for emergency hardship funding has almost tripled in the last year. More and more students are coming to us for help.

The Student Fund exists to ensure that students of every background can come to Liverpool and make the most of their time here – so they can go out into the world and make a difference. From providing emergency grants in times of unexpected financial hardship to bursaries that ensure income doesn’t affect opportunity, your support this Giving Tuesday will make a difference.

You can help support students like Lily.

Student Lily's quote

Your support will help fund:

  • scholarships and bursaries for students who would otherwise miss out
  • emergency grants for students facing unexpected financial hardship
  • support for health and wellbeing, skills development and more.

How to support a student this Giving Tuesday:

  • Make a gift of any size in support of the Student Fund today
