Allergens policy

Campus Food & Drink is committed to reducing the risk to students, staff and visitors with regards to the provision of food and the consumption of allergens in food, which could lead to an allergic reaction.

The current legislation requires us to provide customers with accurate ingredient information regarding the 14 major food allergens contained in non-prepacked foods that we serve, these are listed below:

  • Celery
  • Cereals containing gluten
  • Crustaceans
  • Eggs
  • Fish
  • Lupin
  • Milk
  • Molluscs
  • Mustard
  • Nuts
  • Peanuts
  • Sesame seeds
  • Soya
  • Sulphur dioxide

Campus Food & Drink ensures that allergen information can be supplied in all our outlets. We promote self-responsibility from all of our customers but actively encourage customers with specific dietary requirements to discuss them with our staff. Please feel comfortable to ask any member of staff about the ingredients in any of our dishes.
