With funding from the European Regional Development Fund, Eco-I North West will work with small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) from any sector across the North West region to create innovative low carbon technologies, products, processes and services and develop these through collaborative partnerships with five North West Universities.

Eco-I North West involves the University of Cumbria, Manchester Metropolitan University, and the University of Central Lancashire in addition to the three partner universities in LCEI; the University of Liverpool, Lancaster University and Liverpool John Moores University.

The business benefits and support on offer through Eco-I North West, are summarised in this overview and a selection of case studies.
