Let's do traditional Chinese painting!

In collaboration with Culture Liverpool and Everyman & Playhouse, the Confucius Institute of the University of Liverpool have organised two traditional Chinese painting workshops as part of the 2021 Chinese New Year online celebration.

Taking place on Saturday 13 February at 2pm and Sunday 14 February at 1pm, the painter Ms Ruolin Zhen will draw the chrysanthemum representing ‘fortitude and forever’ in Chinese culture.  The workshops will also teach you how to draw the flowers and leaves of chrysanthemum step by step using Chinese brush.

You will need: paper (rice paper is best), paint/ink (black and colours), paintbrush, palette/plate.
