Workshop: Biofilms and Bioactive fluids - June 6th - 8th

A joint venture between the UK Fluids Network | Bioactive Fluids SIG and the National Biofilms Innovation Centre NBIC.

There are major societal health and management challenges associated with bacterial infection, biofouling, and the emergence of anti-
microbial resistance fomented in biofilms. The aim of this workshop is to

  1. Showcase research by academics and industrial partners.
  2. Increase joint understanding of applied challenges.
  3. Develop new collaborations between academic and industrial partners.

Overview

  1. A main three-day hybrid workshop at the University of Liverpool (June 6th-8th). Days 1 and 2 will be focused on presenting cutting edge research presented by invited speakers and contributed talks. Day 3 will be a collaborative challenge-led session with an industrial focus.
  2. A one-day virtual early career researcher introductory workshop (May 31st) on zoom.
