Campus Open Day

Open Days in 2024 for entry 2025 will be running on Friday 21 June, Saturday 22 June, Saturday 21 September and Saturday 12 October.

Open Day Guide

You can view and download the full programme of activities in our Summer Open Day Guide 2024, which will be available in late May. The guide includes information about all the general and subject sessions, so you can start planning your day in advance of your visit. We recommend planning around the subject sessions you're interested in before taking the time to view accommodation. We also encourage all visitors to attend our general talks and to visit the Information Zone.

You can pick up a copy of the programme when you arrive at your Open Day.

Dentistry, Medicine and Veterinary Sciences have limited space on some of their activity, so booking in advance is essential. You’ll be able to view and book these activities after selecting your course(s) of interest on the booking form.

If you're interested in attending these sessions and didn’t book at the time of registering for an Open Day, you can use the 'My Events' button on your confirmation email to add them to your booking. Pre-bookable sessions are limited to one guest only and you must select this at the time of booking or use the 'Manage Guests' option in 'My Events' to make any changes.

All other subject activities will be drop-in on the day on a first come first served basis.

View accommodation

Booking is required for on-campus accommodation tours. We'll email you two weeks before the Open Day with details of how to do this. If you book with less than two weeks to go, then just check your confirmation email for further information.

On-campus accommodation tours will be available for Crown Place, Vine Court, Melville Grove and Philharmonic Court.

Most people visiting Greenbank Student Village choose to join one of our coach tours which leave regularly from campus. You don't need to book to join one of these coach tours. There are also a limited number of self-drive places for Greenbank. If you'd prefer to drive yourself, you'll need to book the self-drive option. As with the on-campus accommodation tours, we'll email you two weeks before the Open Day with further information.

More information about our accommodation can be found on our dedicated accommodation webpages.

Getting here

The university campus is just a short walk from the city centre and easily accessible by public transport. You’ll find useful information about getting here on our visiting the University webpages, as well as our online campus maps. A good place to head for if you're walking to campus is University Square, where you’ll find our main welcome stands on Open Day. The postcode of the Guild of Students on University Square is L3 5TR.

If you do intend to drive, please note that parking is restricted on and around campus so we recommend using the city centre car parks. The nearest public car park is on Mount Pleasant (postcode L3 5TB) which is around a 5-10 minute walk from University Square. You'll also find a number of car parks at Liverpool One, around a 15 minute walk from campus.
