Dr Folashade Adeyemo, School of Law and Social Justice, recently visited Nigeria to strengthen collaboration and cooperation in the field of education across institutions in Western Africa.

The trip incorporated visits to the University of Lagos, The Regent College, Oxbridge Nigeria, Bridge House College, GEC Academy International, and Oxbridge Tutorial College. The School of Law and Social Justice internationalisation team is now working with these institutions to identify opportunities for both students and scholars to collaborate and build ties.

Discussions across all education institutions showcased their educational and training processes, international cooperation ties, and the opportunities created for both students and scholars. The visit proved to be successful in investigating new partnerships.

Professor Kanstantsin Dzehtsiarou, Associate Dean for Internationalisation, School of Law and Social Justice, shared:

“We are enthusiastic about fostering and broadening our collaborations in Nigeria and other states of West Africa. By consistently developing and expanding these partnerships, we enhance our resources for students and researchers at every level. Consequently, further partnerships in the region will solidify our overall profile, as we look to position ourselves as a world-leading institution for education and research in the field of law and social justice.”

Through international collaborations, we aim to increase our undergraduate and postgraduate student intake, enhance research collaborations, and provide the opportunity for exchange of students and scholars within the field of law and social justice.
