Quasar Group scientists give a lot of importance to outreach engagement and they regularly contribute to open days, science fairs and school visits.
Yelong Wei from the Quasar Group recently visited St. Philip Westbrook Primary school to share his passion for science with children.
In his talk 'Science and our Life' Yelong presented to little students how science affects our everyday life, even the routine activities. Afterwards he carried out demonstrations using a plasma ball and a magnetic accelerator. The demonstrations created a lot of interest and excitement among the pupils and triggered many questions. The very positive feedback suggests that in a few years we can expect many young researchers joining our group!
