Internships

A limited number of paid and unpaid summer studentships and internships are available with the QUASAR Group for undergraduate students.

Students will get a chance to work on an accelerator science and technology project, including beam instrumentations development and beam dynamics studies for accelerators and light sources. To find out more about our current R&D, please visit our research page.

Students should be in their second or third year of a physics or engineering undergraduate degree and should be on track for a first class degree.

If interested please email your CV, including a marks transcript where possible or a list of marks for relevant subject areas, together with a covering letter, to Professor Carsten Welsch.

In addition, the QUASAR Group offers numerous opportunities for internships between one and four weeks duration to high school and college students. This is an excellent opportunity for getting involved in world-class research very early on and an ideal basis for university studies. In case you are interested, please email Professor Carsten Welsch.
