QUASAR contribution to 1st European Advanced Accelerator Concepts (EAAC) Workshop

Topics in this workshop included novel concepts in accelerators such as plasma accelerators driven by lasers and particle beams, dielectric structures, and advanced diagnostics for beams and plasma, and computations for accelerator physics. 145 researchers participated from 69 institutes from 15 different countries. It provided an excellent platform to understand the frontiers of novel accelerators, and meet people who are in the same research area to discuss and get comments.

Aimierding Aimidula representing QUASAR group presented a poster entitled “fibre laser based dielectric gratings accelerator” at the 1^st European Advanced Accelerator Concepts Workshop held at Elba, Italy between June 2^nd – 7^th 2013.
