Get ready to take on a free virtual fitness challenge that combines science and movement! Following last year’s success, the QUASAR Group is excited to launch “Run the Length of the Future Circular Collider 2025,” a unique opportunity to boost your health while diving into the fascinating world of particle accelerator physics.

The Challenge

The Large Hadron Collider (LHC) may currently hold the title of the most complex machine ever built, but a new frontier is in the making. Scientists are now planning the Future Circular Collider (FCC)—a next-generation particle accelerator with an incredible 91-kilometre circumference.

Your mission: walk or run the full length of the FCC at your own pace and location anytime between June 1st and 30th, 2025. All progress can be easily tracked and submitted via our user-friendly online platform.

Why Join In?

  • Level up your fitness: Challenge yourself with a goal that’s ambitious yet attainable in a month.
  • Discover physics in motion: Learn about the science behind accelerators and their role in uncovering the universe’s deepest secrets.
  • Celebrate innovation: Be part of the excitement surrounding the FCC and its potential to reshape our understanding of the cosmos.

Cross the Finish Line

All finishers will receive a digital certificate to mark their achievement—a symbol of both scientific curiosity and personal accomplishment.

There is also the opportunity to order your very own medal!

Lace up, log in, and let’s make science a part of your journey!
