Department of Physics gets communication intern
My name is Cecily Popplewell and I am the physics communications summer intern for 2018. I study Maths and Economics here at the University of Liverpool and am going into my final year. My work background is in retail. I love working in customer services and enjoy advertising and visual merchandising. I was excited to be a part of the Physics Communications team as it gives me a chance to use my social skills whilst developing my promotional skills. My current project is the dissemination and promotion of the upcoming Eupraxia Symposium ‘Quantum Leap towards the next generation of accelerators’. One of my approaches to this is the creation of an Instagram page for the department and the creation of an event STORY. I am very excited to complete this internship and to see what content I am able to create.
