Personal Statement

Kyle completed his undergraduate medical degree at the University of Manchester in 2018.

He went on to complete his foundation training programme within the North West Deanery, working between Royal Blackburn Hospital and Burnley General Hospital. He then undertook the role of clinical research fellow during the COVID-19 pandemic, contributing to the international COVID-19 RECOVERY trial. As part of his academic commitments, Kyle completed a masters degree in medicine through Manchester Metropolitan University. He has completed multiple audits and quality improvement projects within his Trust which have been presented internationally.

Kyle currently works as a specialty registrar in histopathology within the Mersey Deanery. His key areas of interest include cardiothoracic, forensic and neuropathology.
