Becoming a Trustee Director is one of the most important contributions you can make to the management of the Fund. It is a rewarding experience - one that we will support you through from the start. You are not expected to be an expert, the most important qualities to have are good judgement and to be able to act impartially and in good faith for the membership.
This voluntary role is unpaid and is open to any ULPF active member who is currently paying contributions into the Fund.
The ULPF Trustee Board is currently made up of five Trustee Directors selected by the University and two selected from the membership and there is currently a vacancy for one or more new Trustee Directors to be selected from the Fund’s active members.
We are committed to enhancing our Trustee Board to be as diverse as our city and particularly encourage applicants who are of minoritised genders and ethnic backgrounds, living with a disability, and/or are members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
