Following some changes in the Heseltine Institute leadership team we are delighted to announce that Professor Mark Boyle and Sue Jarvis will now serve as joint Co-Directors for the Institute.

Mark stated, “Owing to domestic responsibilities I am shifting to a 0.5 role within the University. I am delighted that Sue is joining me as an equal Co-Director. Together we will ensure that the Institute continues to build momentum and further scale the crucial contribution the University of Liverpool is making to the regeneration of Liverpool City Region.”

Sue commented, “I’m delighted to take up this new role working with Mark to provide collective leadership and strategic focus for the Heseltine Institute. Working together we will strengthen the Institute’s role in bringing together academic expertise from across the university with local policy-makers to inform and impact the most critical challenges cities and city regions face today.”

Together, Mark and Sue are committed to further strengthening the work of the Institute and it's contribution to the recovery of Liverpool City Region.
