Big names gather in Liverpool for Lord Heseltine conference

Well known national and local leaders came together with almost 200 others to debate the legacy and work of Lord Heseltine in the city that helped make his name. In the shadow of the Albert Dock – a symbol of the Merseyside renewal he helped bring about – a major conference brought together figures from across politics and sectors. Chaired by Professor Michael Parkinson, himself a leading figure in the city region’s regeneration, speakers included Lord John Prescott, Lord Andrew Adonis, Sir Terry Leahy, Sir Richard Leese and Joe Anderson.

The programme for the celebration can be found here.
