Devolution, Metro Mayors, Liverpool City Region one year on: What's happening, what's working, what's next?
Steve Rotheram, the Metro Mayor of the Liverpool City Region, and his Greater Manchester counterpart, Andy Burnham, and leading local stakeholders came together with 150 guests to discuss the progress of the city region devolution one year on, how it's working and next steps. Chaired by professor Michael Parkinson and hosted by the Heseltine Institute, speakers discussed why devolution matters, its challenges and opportunities, including Brexit, the policy pipeline of the LCR Combined Authority; and reflexions from Greater Manchester.
