PGR Conference

Published on

I am delighted to welcome you to the annual SoES PGR conference! We will have about 80 presentations over two days followed by annual progress interviews. Dr Janine Kavanagh will deliver a keynote lecture on ‘Cracking Volcanoes and How to Survive in Academia’ on Monday at 6pm and there will be a panel discussion on ‘What We Had Wished We Had Known’ on Tuesday at 6pm followed by PGR reception at 7pm. We hope that the conference will offer each of us something; either the opportunity to present ongoing research and receive feedback from a distinguished audience or to learn more about new research in Environmental studies and sciences. This will certainly broaden our horizons and will hopefully further promote collaboration between various research areas of the school.

Enjoy the conference!
On behalf of the organising committee,

Hill Kulu
Director of Postgraduate Research
