The first Symposium on Algorithmic Foundations of Dynamic Networks (SAND 2022) will take place between March 28-30.

The event is held online and is co-organised by the Department of Computer Science, University of Liverpool and La Sapienza University of Rome.

It will include three keynotes by distinguished researchers and six technical sessions on topics related to DNA self-assembly, dynamic networks and distributed algorithms, mobile computing and robotics, population protocols, and temporal and dynamic graph algorithms. You can view the schedule here.

Registration is free for non-presenting participants and is currently available here.

The Symposium on Algorithmic Foundations of Dynamic Networks (SAND) is a newly established conference. Its objective is to become the primary venue for original research on fundamental aspects of computing in dynamic networks and computational dynamics. SAND is seeking important contributions from all viewpoints, including the theory, design, analysis, and application of dynamic computing systems and dynamic networks. It aims to bring together researchers from computer science and related areas such as mathematics, complex systems, sociology, transportations, robotics, physics, and biology to present and discuss original research at the intersection of algorithms, dynamic networks and dynamic systems. It welcomes both conceptual and technical contributions, as well as novel ideas and new problems that will inspire the community and facilitate the further growth of the area.
