Datarama 2018

Datarama was held at the University of Liverpool in February 2018. Read more details about the event below.

During the event, CBF staff provided detailed plans, advice and explanations to selected projects, including a full budgeted report and help with further funding applications. This was achieved by a combination of tutorials to explain the methodological approach in a non-specialist language and small group discussions to help the development of a full research plan.

The first day was a large session open to anybody that wanted to learn about the rationale, theory and tools including different pipelines for major data analyses including multi-omics integration, biological networks and protein structure and modelling. We ran through a variety of topics including real life examples and describing the state-of-the art techniques to get the most of your data.

On the second day, selected groups were invited back for discussion of specific analyses, steps, budgeting and possible funding applications for their projects.
