This year’s Employability Fund is open, and you can apply now for a non-repayable bursary of up to £200 to support activities that will strengthen your employability - including professional development courses, interview travel costs, or networking events.
The Employability Fund can be used for:
- Travel and accommodation for work experience, interviews, assessment centres, or industry events
- Course or workshop fees for professional development
- Conference registration costs
- Materials needed for career-related activities
- Mock interviews or career coaching sessions
- Other costs directly related to enhancing employability
The fund does not cover:
- Costs related to compulsory study or digital equipment required for your degree
Making your application
The fund opens in October each year and closes once all available funds have been allocated. The fund is open to students who have been identified as being part of our EQ+ cohort. All eligible students will be contacted when applications open.
