Your Career Studio: support when you need it

Drop in to speak with a Career Coach for expert, practical help with:

  • Personalised one-to-one career advice
  • CV reviews, cover letters and application guidance
  • Interview preparation and mock interviews
  • Job search strategies and opportunity sourcing

No appointment needed. Find us on the ground floor of the Foundation Building, Monday–Friday, 10:00–17:00 (term time).

If cost is getting in the way of your next step, the Equality+ Employability Fund can help with essentials such as travel, clothing or equipment for interviews, internships and other work-based opportunities.

  • 10,000 Black Interns offers paid internship opportunities for Black students and graduates across more than 30 UK sectors. The programme includes mentoring and skills training to help participants build confidence and industry experience.
  • 93% Club,The UK’s largest network for state-educated and working-class students. It provides community events, peer support, and employability resources designed to level the playing field.
  • Strawberry Field Steps to Work :A local employability programme offering training, work placements and personal development for young people with learning difficulties or barriers to work. It helps participants develop independence and job readiness skills.
  • Exceptional Individuals: A specialist organisation supporting neurodiverse and disabled talent. They provide personalised career coaching, CV guidance, and access to inclusive employers who understand neurodiversity in the workplace.
  • MyPlus Students' Club: An online resource hub for students with disabilities or long-term health conditions. It offers career advice, employer profiles, and guidance on disclosure, adjustments and interview preparation.
  • EmployAbility: A not-for-profit organisation helping disabled and neurodivergent candidates access fair and inclusive recruitment. They work directly with employers to provide internships, mentoring, and support through every stage of the application process.
  • NeuroPool:  A professional network connecting neurodivergent students and graduates with inclusive employers. It focuses on matching individual strengths to the right opportunities and promoting neurodiversity in employment.
  • SEO London, Supports talented students from underrepresented backgrounds through training, mentoring, and access to top graduate employers. Its programmes help participants gain the confidence and connections needed to thrive in competitive industries.
  • Catch22 Employment and Training, Delivers training, work experience and employment programmes to help individuals overcome barriers and achieve sustainable careers. They work closely with local employers to open up real opportunities.
  • Change 100programme:  A paid summer internship and mentoring scheme for students and graduates with a disability or long-term health condition. The programme matches participants with inclusive employers who recognise and value diverse talent.
