Project: Diaphragm function following cervical spinal cord injury

The functional capacity of skeletal muscle following chronic spinal cord injury (SCI) and successful motor recovery has had limited attention. We are investigated how diaphragm mechanical properties change following chronic cervical SCI and after plasticity induced recovery of respiratory function.
