'Hi! Let's Get Started: IAG's International Student Welcome' - Monday, 15th September 2025, 10am, Lecture Theatre A, Central Teaching Hub

Welcome from the International Advice and Guidance Team (IAG) to all of our new international students. Find out everything you need to know as a new international student at the University of Liverpool and what support the University can offer. We will have staff from our Wellbeing Team, Guild of Students, the Libraries and even local Merseyside Police giving you lots of useful information.

'Liverpool on a Budget' - Tuesday, 16th September 2025, 10am, Lecture Theatre A, Central Teaching Hub

Want to know how to make your money go further? Come along to find out some money-saving tips and ideas on how to manage your money without reducing your experience of being in the UK. The session is run by IAG and our Money Advice and Guidance Team and there will be a chance to ask any questions on the best places to shop and to spend your money in Liverpool.

'English Study Skills' - Wednesday, 17th September 2025, 10am, Lecture Theatre A, Central Teaching Hub

Presented jointly with the English Language Centre, come along to learn about all of the free in-sessional services offered to all University students alongside your studies. You will also get some informal tips on how to improve the different aspects of your English Language as well as information on any conversation groups you can join.

'Working During Your Studies' - Thursday, 18th September 2025, 10am, Lecture Theatre A, Central Teaching Hub

Presented jointly by IAG and the University Careers and Employability Service, this session will tell you everything you need to know about finding part-time work in the UK alongside your studies.

'Meet Your Student Ambassadors' - Friday, 19th September 2025, 10am, Lower Ground Floor Seminar Room, Alsop Building, University Square

Hosted by some of our University of Liverpool Student Ambassadors, this session will give you a chance to meet some of them as well as other new international students and share your experience of life in the UK so far. There will be opportunity to ask questions and get tips about life in Liverpool. BOOKING IS REQUIRED FOR THIS SESSION DUE TO LIMITED AVAILABILITY.
