Sexual Violence and Abuse:
- Safe Place Merseyside is the local Sexual Assault Referral Centre for Merseyside. You can receive medical care and speak to a trained crisis worker, even if you're not ready to speak to the police. Their services are free of charge and provided to women, men, young people and children. You can contact them on 0151 295 3550
- RASA Merseyside – provide specialist support, advocacy, counselling, help and information for anyone affected by rape and sexual assault. You can contact them on 0151558 1801
- Rape Crisis England and Wales – offer services for anyone who has been affected by rape, child sexual abuse, sexual assault, sexual harassment or any form of sexual violence. They operate a free 24/7 support line: 0808 500 2222 or online chat.
- Samaritans – Call 116 123 for 24/7 for support, they are here to help you.
- If you need urgent help for your mental health, get help from NHS 111 online or call 111
- Galop - emotional and practical support for LGBT people experiencing domestic abuse. You can call them on 0800 999 5428 or email help@galop.org.uk
- Switchboard – a national LGBTQIA+ support line. You can call them, email them or there is an online chat
- Liverpool Domestic Abuse Service - for women and girls experiencing domestic abuse. You can contact them on 0151 263 7474 / Freephone 0800 084 2744 or text on 0756 201 3316
- Savera – a local organisation for women from black, minority ethnic and refugee communities experiencing domestic violence. You can call them on 0800 107 0726
