Welcome to Money Advice and Guidance

We hope that you enjoy your time studying at the University of Liverpool.  Managing your money is an important part of that and we're here to help should you experience any problems.

We can advise you on the following:

  • Help you to maximise your income by ensuring that you are receiving all of the money you are entitled to from the Student Loans Company or from welfare benefits
  • Provide advice on budgeting your income and working with you if you have problems with debt
  • Assessing you for the hardship fund if you are a UK student who is experiencing financial difficulties

Student Services provide a confidential service. You can find out more by downloading our Confidentiality Information leaflet.

The University Hardship Fund for academic year 2019/20 is now open. For information please see the Hardship Fund page.

Please note, we are currently only able to accept UHF applications by email. If you have already submitted an application form it will be assessed as soon as possible.  All applications and queries should be sent to money@liverpool.ac.uk.
