Get ready to lace up as part of LGBT+ History Month!

Published on

Sport Liverpool is marking LGBT+ History Month by asking staff and students to wear rainbow laces in their shoes to help tackle homophobia, biphobia and transphobia in sports.

To get involved, you can get rainbow laces from the Stonewall website and wear them the week of Monday, 26 February.

Sport Liverpool's Athletics Union clubs will be taking part in the rainbow laces campaign across their fixtures during this week. To support their teams, be sure to check out the bulk of fixtures they have coming up on Wednesday, 28 February.

If you take part in Rainbow Laces 2024, remember to share your photos online @LivUni or @SportLiverpool using the hashtags #LivUniLGBTplus #RainbowLaces.
