Congratulations to Claire, who was appointed to a Personal Chair in November. Claire will continue her roles, helping lead the CPR to greater achievements as well as developing her own research.
From 2011, we have offered a proteomics service as a ‘core’ facility, although we are rather more engaged than simply being a ‘hole in the wall’ where samples are deposited. Detauls here.

In 2015, CPR will embark on a major new activity with Winstanley College to develop stronger links with local schools. Early in January, at least ten of us will become STEM Ambassadors (including Claire and Rob) and the whole programme will be supported by a grant from the Biochemical Society.
