With an evolving profession, CFA plays an important role in driving positive change in the investment industry and advocating for fairness and transparency for investors globally.

The University Affiliation Programme (UAP) recognises academic institutions that align teaching to the CFA programme curriculum. This prestigious recognition reflects our commitment to embedding ethics-based investment education in the teaching of our BSc Finance and Data Analytics and BSc Finance and Data Analytics Year in Industry programmes.

Launched in September 2023 by Professor Chardin Wese, both programmes have gone from strength to strength, becoming a named academic partner of the CQF Institute in July 2024, recognising how the modern curriculum is closely linked with professional practice.

The CFA and CQF professional accreditations benefit current and future students by giving students access to large networks, important resources from globally recognised institutes, events, career opportunities and the knowledge that they are studying programmes with a strong alignment to industry standards.

Professor Chardin Wese, Director of Studies notes:

We are honoured to have been recognised by the CFA Institute. This affiliation signals to prospective students, employers, and the wider marketplace that our curriculum is grounded in professional practice and closely aligned with the body of knowledge required to pass the CFA examinations.

The partnership will enrich the learning experience of our students by providing them with access to scholarships, CFA-specific learning materials, and opportunities to engage with the global CFA community through competitions such as the CFA Institute Research Challenge.

We look forward to a close and fruitful partnership with the CFA Institute that will further strengthen our students’ academic and professional development.
