Get involved in the ULMS Experiential Learning Project module

The Management School are currently looking for graduates to work alongside current BA Business Management students and get involved in the Experiential Learning Project module (ULMS209) by providing real-life organisational problems for students to solve.

The popular module helps students to gain valuable professional experience and helps students to develop skills including professionalism, report writing, communication, perseverance, problem-solving, teamwork and increase employability.

Dr Martyn Bradley, Lecturer in Work, Organisation and Management, describes the module as a valuable addition to the Business Management programme allowing students, especially those who might be unable to undertake a year in industry, to gain valuable experience and skills to support their transition to graduate employment.

An example of real-world business problems Business Management students have been presented with includes consulting for Google and undertaking a risk analysis relating to Google’s Next Billion Users. A highlight for students was presenting their findings, virtually, to Google staff situated in their New York Office.

Students have also had the chance to work with local and global businesses such as Cains Brewery Village, AI Change Management, Liverpool, Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital, Google, Snapify Marketing, Agnes Marketing, Wainwrights Accountants, Wicker Wings, Waking Dragon Creative Thinking Solutions, LoyalAs and Moray Bags.

If you are a graduate and would like to get involved in the module, please email Dr Martyn Bradley directly here.
