The first aim of the module is to further develop students' problem solving abilities and ability to select techniques and apply the knowledge gained from the first year of Business Management study to authentic work situations. Specifically, within this aim, the module will:
1) develop students' ability to solve a problem in depth over an extended period and produce reports;
2) develop students' ability to communicate management scholarship to audiences of differing managerial perspectives, including other academics, business clients and the general public;
3) develop an appreciation of how groups operate in the context of serving an external client, different roles in group work, and the different skills required to successfully operate as a team.
The second aim of the module is to develop students' employability skills in key areas such as public speaking, time management, project management, and professionalism.

(LO2) Students will be able to produce reports based on the development of a piece of work, in depth over an extended period of time.
