Sixth annual Horseracing Industry Conference to take place on 1 June 2023 at York Racecourse
The Racing Foundation and University of Liverpool Management School are pleased to announce the annual Horseracing Industry Conference will be returning on Thursday 1 June 2023 at York Racecourse.
At a pivotal time for racing as its leaders develop a new strategy for the future of the sport, the conference will bring together experts from both within and outside of the industry to examine the question 'Modernising racing: How far and how fast?'
The conference will include refreshments throughout the day, a two-course lunch, and be followed by a champagne reception. It is an ideal opportunity to network with other delegates from the racing community and discuss the topics of the day.
The Racing Foundation is committed to environmental sustainability and the 2023 Horseracing Industry Conference will be its most ambitious event yet in that regard. All aspects of the conference’s environmental impact will be addressed including energy, water, food, resources and waste. Emissions and waste will be reduced with the remaining carbon offset through a recommended, high-quality scheme.
