ULMS collaboration with marketing agency Aurora

Students Georgina Clay (BA Marketing, 1st year) and Ailbhe McGuckian (BA Marketing, 2nd year) recently completed a successful internship with Aurora Creative agency and their client VIBE, a local youth charity. The project sought to clients, develop VIBE’s brand awareness and reach youth across the Liverpool City Region through powerful, cut-through digital marketing.

The students performed exceptionally well, had an incredible experience and were able to boost their employability as well as appreciate the impact of their work on young individuals in Liverpool. This is no small part down to the excellent collaboration between ULMS and Aurora.

Indeed Miyoshi Tamashiro-Rizo (BA Marketing, 2021) and Digital Marketing Executive @ Aurora commented:

"Meeting both students for this project was a fantastic experience. They brought fresh ideas to the brief and were really passionate about the campaign.  Both students adapted so well to the campaign process and the experience of working with clients- It is lovely to see businesses and students working together with the University of Liverpool Management School."

ULMS and Aurora have further plans to extend their collaboration building on a successful relationship so far which has also seen the delivery of marketing masterclasses, mentoring clinics and guest lectures by CEO and Co-Found @ Aurora- Dawn Paine.

Both Georgina and Ailbhe have written reflections on their internship experiences. You can read Georgina's here and Ailbhe's here.
