ULMS Master’s Student Wins Outstanding Paper Award

Published on

Congratulations to current PhD student and former master’s student, Runyue Han (Management MRes, 2020), who has won an Outstanding Paper Award from Emerald Literati Awards 2022!

For nearly 30 years the Emerald Literati Awards have celebrated, recognised and rewarded the outstanding contributions of authors and reviewers. The criteria used to judge the awards are based on six areas that inform the development of our products: internationality; diversity; support for scholarly research; encouragement of applied research (impact); commitment to high quality scholarship; and a desire to ensure reader, author and customer experience is the best it can be.

Runyue’s award is based on her research entitled: “Artificial intelligence in business-to-business marketing: A bibliometric analysis of current research status, development and future directions” which is published in Industrial Management & Data Systems. Runyue’s research is based on her master’s dissertation, which received a distinction, and was supervised by Professor Hugo Lam.

Commenting on Runyue’s success, Hugo said:

“I am very impressed by how Runyue worked hard to publish her master’s dissertation in a high-quality academic journal and then won the Outstanding Paper Award. This is a rare achievement for a master’s student! Absolutely well done, Runyue!”
