The Management School’s Accounting Lecturing Team was recently the recipient of the ‘Public Sector College of the Year’ award at the 2019 PQ Awards.

Other universities short-listed for this category included The University of Derby, London South Bank University and Manchester Metropolitan University.

The PQ Awards are run by PQ magazine, the industry’s leading publication for accountancy students and professionals. The awards recognise those who have made significant contributions in the accountancy and finance industry over the past 12 months.

Nick Drape, Lecturer on the Accounting programme, said “It was a fantastic night at the ceremony in London and the team were thrilled to win the award. Colleagues from both the Liverpool and London campus were in attendance and it was great to be able to celebrate the achievement together. The award is testament to the hard work put in by the team and others within ULMS who ensure our students have the best possible experience on their programme.”

The Management School offers Accounting and Finance programmes at both undergraduate and master’s levels.  The undergraduate programme offers more main professional body exemptions than any other Russell Group Accounting and Finance programme.
