Improving leadership skills with a Master’s in Business Administration

Published on

In January the University of Liverpool Management School is holding an event for managers and professionals. The open evening will provide an insight into the School’s Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) programme, which is ranked amongst the top 100 in the world by The Economist ‘Which MBA?’ 2018.

The MBA programme helps students develop the self-awareness, social intelligence and interpersonal skills required for successful leadership. The School offers general and specialist sports MBA programmes: The Liverpool MBAFootball Industries MBA and the Thoroughbred Horseracing Industries MBA.

A number of exciting programme changes are planned for September 2019, including the introduction of innovative digital learning techniques, increased opportunities to apply management theory  in and out of the classroom, and an international study trip.
For those interested in pursuing the Thoroughbred Horseracing Industries MBA, its new blended learning design of online and face-to-face teaching enables students to combine flexible, part-time study with ongoing employment.

At the event, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a MBA masterclass and experience these innovations first-hand in an immersive, experiential learning environment.

Associate Dean, Professor Elizabeth Maitland commented:

"The open evening provides a fantastic opportunity to learn more about our programme content and to see the tremendous impact MBA study has had on the careers of our graduates. We have one of the most generous MBA scholarship packages in the sector, with multiple scholarships which fully or partially cover the cost of tuition fees. Admissions staff will be on hand to help our visitors determine if they would be eligible for funding support."

The open evening will be held in the MBA suite (Brett Building) on Oxford Street between 5.00pm-7.00pm.‌ For more information and to register visit the open evening event page.
